Archaeological Museum, Teramo

The archaeological museum F. Savini is located in Teramo in Delfico street, on the ground floor of a building which was the church of San Carlo in the early 1600s and Teramo’s courthouse in 1800.

The museum summarises with a clever exhibition itinerary the history of the civilization of Praetutii and the city of Teramo, the ancient Interamnia Praetutiorum, from the twelfth century BC to the seventh A.D. The Roman period is the most represented for its numerous evidences concerning urban structures, civil and housing works and suburban necropolis.

The museum is open every day except on Monday with opening time changing according to the season, usually 9:30-13:00 and 16:00-19:00. Please call +39 0861 247772 for information. Admission is free.
