Stables of the Ducal Palace, Atri

The stables of Dukes Acquaviva Palace were Roman baths in II-III century, turned into prisons and ducal stables under the Acquaviva, dukes of Atri. Today they house summer art exhibitions. Along the stairway to the stables there is a fresco of ‘600 by an unknown author that represents the Nativity.
