Castrovalva, Anversa degli Abruzzi

Castrovalva is a picturesque villagge , part of Anversa degli Abruzzi, which rises on a rocky cape 820 metres above sea level. Nearly 30 people effectively live in the village.

Castrovalva dominates the Gorges of Sagittario and the Nature Reserve of the Gorges of Sagittario.

Castrovalva main monuments are the churches of San Michele Archangelo (XII century), Madonna della Neve (XVI century) and Santa Maria delle Grazie.
