Castilenti (about 1500 inhabitants) is situated in the Province of Teramo on a hilltop 272 m above sea level.

The main places of interest are the church and convent of St. Maria di Monte Uliveto (XVI century); the parish church of Santa Vittoria (XIV century); the church of San Rocco; De Sterlich Palace or Castle (XVI century); the Old Fountain (XV century), in locality Fonte, and the Roman milestone.
