Nocciano is in the Province of Pescara, on a hilltop 300 metres above sea level, among the valleys of the Pescara, Nora and Cigno rivers. About 1.700 people live in Nocciano. Many Noccianes emigrated in the last century as a street picture reports.

Main monuments of Nocciano are the church of Sant’Antonio and the massive De Sterlich-Aliprandi Castle, that today houses the Museum of Arts.

In Nocciano good olive oil and wines are produced. Bosco Wine Factory is one of the best in Abruzzo.
