Ski district Passolanciano Maielletta

The ski district Passolanciano Maielletta is on the Majella massif, in the Majella National Park, by Pretoro, Rapino (Chieti) and Lettomanoppello (Pescara). It goes from Passolanciano (1306 m) to Maielletta (1995 m), dominating the Adriatic sea. It is made up of 16 ski runs (according to the level: 2 black, 9 red and 5 blue), supplied by 1 chair lift and 8 ski lift. It is divided up in Passolanciano (from 1300 to 1650 m), with ski runs in the beech woods, and Maielletta (from 1650 to 1995 m), provided with a snow park and wide snow fields for carving, skiing and cross-country skiing.

To get to the ski resort by car: A/14 motorway, toll both Pescara Sud, SS. 263 to Fara Filiorum Petri, Pretoro, Passolanciano, Maielletta.

By bus: ARPA bus from Chieti or Pescara; timetable http://www.arpaonline.it/
By train: Pescara or Chieti Railway station, ARPA bus (tel.+39 0871 349919) to Pretoro.
