Sant’Eufemia a Maiella

Sant’Eufemia a Maiella is a village (about 300 inhabitants) that dominates the valley of the Orta river, in the Province of Pescara. It is included in the Majella National Park, and in the earlier Nature Reserve of Lama Bianca, near Caramanico Terme and on the panoramic road to St. Leonardo mountain pass.

Places of interest in Sant’Eufemia are the Botanical Garden “Daniela Brescia” and the Church of San Bartolomeo of the 16th century. The district of Roccacaramanico is very picturesque.
