The imposing cliff of Torre Mucchia is in Ortona, south of the Riccio beach. It is protected by a man-made breakwater barrier. A stunning landing place is in front of a little gulf. In our opinion, this is one of the best landscape on the Abruzzo coast, unfortunately not adequately protected by the local administrations. We wish the National Park of the Teatine Coast would intervene as soon as possible in order to reappraise that place of wonder.
